Kuranda (Skyrail and Train) + Paronella Park

This tour is a combination of Kuranda and Paronella Park tours.

This Kuranda tour includes transfers from your accommodation to the Smithfield Skyrail station, 3 hours and half of free time in Kuranda, and the Kuranda Scenic Railway train from Kuranda back to Cairns. You will first have the opportunity to experience a fascinating journey above the rainforest canopy aboard with Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Enjoy a truly unique perspective of this ancient landscape; glide metres above the pristine jungle canopy before descending to explore the rainforest close up.

Upon arriving in Kuranda, you will have a 3 hours and half of free time to enjoy the unique atmosphere and an array specialty market stalls & hidden cafes.

Kuranda has a fun and festive atmosphere, became popular with the hippie crowd in the 1960s and ’70s. They have left an artistic and musical legacy that can still be enjoyed today. Look out for the amazing street art and talented buskers performing on street corners!

After enjoying Kuranda, you will board the Kuranda Scenic Rail to begin the 2 hour trip back to Cairns.
Now imagine all that natural wonder so close that you can almost touch it, your senses alive with the heady organic fragrance and untamed sounds of the dense rainforest. Unwind your way through a tropical paradise framed by rugged mountains with waterfalls tumbling forever into deep ravines.

Once you are picked up at Cairns Station, this tour first takes you to the beautiful Josephine falls located on the south-east side of the summit of Bartle Frere, where you will be walking through the rainforest to get to the waterfall for photo opportunities.

Once we leave Josephine falls, we will be heading to Paronella Park which was built by Jose Paronella who immigrated to Australia with dreams and aspired to build a beautiful castle for people. You will surely be amazed by the beautiful stories of Jose Paronella and have an unforgettable experience.

This tour ends with a very popular Italian restaurant in Innisfail where you can enjoy a buffet style dinner. (Covid 19 restrictions apply)
